Mate of mine has posted the following on my facebook. I've already posted my own reply, but keen to see what others would say

At the risk of inciting a very long debate, what are your thoughts on the fact that Hodgson boasted a higher points per game average at Anfield than Kenny does?

My reply:

1) I dont know that he actually does boast that.
2) I watch every game and under Hodgson we were outplayed and deserved to lost about 90% of the time. Under Dalglish, we've actually *deserved* to lose about 6 times this season.
3) Hodgson got knocked out by Northampton, Dalglish won the League Cup & has produced two trips to Wembley in the space of a month and a half.
4) Dalglish's CV contains League Title and FA Cup wins, Hodgson's includes 'highlights' such as the "John West Tuna Chunks Shield"
5) Dalglish knows what LFC means, Hodgson hasnt got the foggiest.

- Hodge wanted to sell Agger and he is considered by many top 3,4 CBs in the world

-Dalglish won the league twice with 2 different teams and Hodge highest achievement is 7th with Fulham (If I am not mistaken)>> expending on what you said under 4)

Hodgson's mentality was terrible and toxic for this club. His biggest achievement was losing a cup final (Europa League).

I saw the same stat on SSN this evening; from memory Roy averaged 2 points from 10 games, Kenny averaged 1.56 (ish) from 24 (ish) at Anfield - obviously this is swayed by the amount of games we've drawn which you've eluded to. What he's failed to mention is the overall stat over both tenures of which Kenny has a larger point average per game, which obviously matters more.

And as you've said, that's taking in to account the games we've deserved more from etc.
