My reaction at the time was that Carroll's header was over the line, but I think he had the opportunity to follow up and make sure, instead of running off celebrating. That's something that we haven't done at enough of this season following stuff up. It seems harsh to have a go at Carroll for that because his performance was fantastic, but had he done so...

Chelsea didn't play that well, I can only really remember them having a couple of good chances, both of which they scored from, had we not made the mistakes to gift them the first goal, it was the type of game that had a 0-0 stalemate written all over it.

I agree about Chelsea. They didn't do much really but they won. We had a lot more possession and shots on target and 7-1 better on corners, according to the match stats. And yet we lost. The same pattern has occurred in many of our games so it's not good enough really.

**** me, the defeat today and calling for kennys head are different issues. We've been poor all season and after spending a ****load in the summer we are now a midtable team. A win today would have papered over the cracks but the defeat highlighted the problems
