He's been plagued by back injuries since we signed him. He's only now getting back to match fitness. I think he's most been a sub for the reserves this season. We'll have to be patient with him I think.

@kopite_2012 Doni missing from the tour due to personal reasons. Remains a Liverpool player.

His current role in the club is unknown as he has not featured in the first team squad list and no transfer news have been released by the club. However, Doni has been included in the Premier League squad by Liverpool.

Got 8 mins on Monday, his first appearance for U21's. You could see his class even in that short cameo.

It was announced on deadline day, pretty sure I posted the (very short) piece from the Offal in the news section at the time - and I had him in the "confirmed transfers" post, I just think with all the general chaos that day it slipped under the radar for many people.
