Nige, you've changed. And, incredibly, not for the better.

I didn't realise that was even possible.

So, come on, lighten up. Or stop messing around - its hard to tell which it is.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Nige is refusing to forgive them for removing the "unsackable" (Nige's words) Dalglish.

You could be right that he's thought about it and has his reasons, however wrong they may be.

But the simpler explanation is that he was, is, and always will be, brainless.

I think our strongest 11 is pretty much set without going overboard. I would like a sensible model being used regarding transfers and more than happy to give the likes of shelvey, suso, sterling & co a chance to make up the numbers. Also would prefer if a player comes in who can do a job for us (scoring/creating goals which helps us into top 4) this season & next that can then be sold off (without emotional heartache!) once we are in the CL & generating a higher income and attract more 'marquee' type names to add to a progressively building squad of 'super players'.

Not happy with our transfer as yet.

Think we are light up front in terms of finishers. we need another winger that can score, and a substitute for Gerrard in the team as i believe he cannot play all games as he is not getting any younger.

would be happy with sahin(loan to cover gerrard), and another winger that has got good finishing

Who would you have bought instead on the same budget?
              Oh I don't know.

I can imagine this is quote being closer to the truth (when Kenny is mentioned - it's not me remember, it's Kenny Dalgish)

We can only spend what we have. If this is all we have then fine. I think the question would be better phrased by asking if we were happy enough with the current squad of players.

Personally I'm not happy. For me to be happy we'd need to flog Adam & Carroll and bring in a couple of players who can play in the front three.

I think someone has already mentioned it, but signing a few players like Sahin, Tello & Affelay would be fantastic. If we're talking dreamland, then maybe Walcott throw in somewhere as well.
                  Forwards.......

It's not their fault that other teams have **** loads to spend from their sugar daddies while we don't. It's not their fault that after pumping in 37m net last season, we bought dross that directly affected our 'position' or whatever it is.

Add do that the ridiculous wage bill they inherited, we are financially crippled. So, the sensible thing to do is cut down on it first and then once you know what wages you'll be paying after offloading all the dross we dont need in the squad, we can have a clear cut plan as to how much we can spend each season.

No guarantees on not signing crap again but at least this time we are making sure that we don't become a laughing stock again by paying 35m for Carroll or 20m for Downing or figures like that.

10m for Borini and 15m for Allen(a little above his fair price) are decent for young players. Moreover unlike last time where we offered both the new players about 3.5 to 4m in wages, we have offered 1.5m - 2m in wages which is good.

Be patient rather than being snide and snarky.

What i meant was if these are the only transfers we have this summer, i would not be happy with it.

Would be great if we could get another one to two players to plug the gaps. that would be a great window IMO.

Yea but there's no money for that. We have to sell to buy and that's not great. I'll be happy if we swap Adam for someone. Preferably a winger/striker

We'll beat Man City and Arsenal. Borini to score against both.

                            I've got a brilliant plan.

                            Lets Sell Agger for 27m.

                            One Million Pounds Profit
