    Same old same old really.

We are doing 75% of the game brilliantly, 25% terribly.

We hold possession and pass the ball quite nicely - but at times a bit manically at the back. We create a couple of chances and miss them. The opposition grow in belief seeing the entire game in front of them and us missing chances. The fact we are under orders to pass the ball means that if the opposition begin to press sooner or later they will force a mistake, and so far it seems benefit from a goal. We go on to lose belief, and the game.

It is a worry because our soft underbelly is exposed and I think a lot of teams will fancy they can take points of us this season. our tactics have been broadcast widely and famously meaning we will be pretty easy to prepare to play against. We are a very known quantity.

No plan B could also be a huge problem for us. Plan A is going to take some time to bed in. It is hard to comprehend how we would cope if Suarez got injured. No point going over it too much again but getting shot off Carroll was madness, particularly without replaceing him (though to be honest I didn't see Dempsey as answering all of our attacking problems).

A concerning start. Rodgers needs a win just to settle himself in.
    Modifying post.

Have you seen us play 'football' in the last two years?

He doesn't. Allen does the 'sitting in the middle and pulling strings' bit better, and Shelvey does the Mr Dynamo bit better now. He should be back-up for either of those 2 roles. Sahin can probably do the false 9 bit better too.

Shouldn't have to do to much defending out wide in Rodgers front 3 I thought that was job of one of the 3 CM's was to cover, would just need to press alot and maybe he hasn't got that in him to do it for a full 90
          RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever

So we're doing better than you expected...well that's at least a positive

Just saw it on LFC TV. Said he thought we played quite well and passed the ball well first half. Disappointed with the result, need to learn to keep the ball better but it will come in time.

Right now he fits on the bench.

Only bit I've heard so far is from a radio journo in Liverpool who tweeted
Brendan Rodgers says if he knew he wasn't going to get replacements in, he wouldn't have let Andy Carroll go #LFC

They're top class footballers, and now they need to learn how to play again. **** me, talk about patronising.

They might need to get used to a new system and that should take a couple of months max, but relearn how to play again, what a load of bollocks.

It is what it is. Some of them highly paid players never played proper footballers. Which what needs to find out and resolve.

We won't be relegated that's just hysterical girly behaviour.

But it does show what we are capable of, what we can do and what we are trying to do. A little patience wouldn't go amiss.

If I was Rodgers I would threaten to resign. He was played for a fool.
