And we have no line of credit with the owners, even when repayment is contractually guaranteed. Puzzling.

given our previous foray into the market i can understand if our line of credit isn't quite what it was in the short term.

On a positive note, our wage bill looked really good out there today. Lean and sexy.

That was hard to watch because we constantly have a knack of shooting ourselves in the foot. Arsenal played well but we gave them the edge with some ridiculously sloppy passes.

We are definitely a work in progress and that game came too soon (and the expectation we all had of winning)

Suarez needs to calm down a bit and channel his energy more positively.

We were let down by our 3 best players: Gerrard, Suarez and Reina.

Also, surely we must be the 'most wasteful side when in dangerous positions' in the league?

Thats fine but we over committed today and they exploited oir deficiencies

                Predictable Game A plan
When it does not work we have no one on the bench to come on an change that....

Pepe are you still on the lash mate. Your game is Pissed up.
                Suarez Goodness gracious me...
Gerrard...the bloody Gerrard problem. The same problem to plague 4 managers. When to drop him.

as i said in the gerrard thread, it's baffling how obsessed suarez seems to be with nutmegs and winning free kicks. often to the detriment of the rest of his game. he does one of the above when there are passes on or when he could drive the lane. it's just weird.

                      We played like 11 strangers.

I'm a bit worried about the options in our midfield. This system requires two sitting midfielders and we basically have only two of them, meaning when one gets injured we have an issue.
                        Are we winning?

to rely solely on keeping possession without positioning players as a contingency is an idiotic tactic of epic/roy-like proportions

That attempted dinked finish near the end was infuriating. Just lash it in the corner ffs. He seems obsessed by doing stuff the most spectacular way all the time.

Suarez is playing football like it's played on the streets. He's out of control, lacks discipline and a balanced temperament. It's part of what makes him good but it's IMO why he's such an inconsistent finisher. If he can't sort out his flaws, he's never going to be a complete player.
