So why did he play Carra on Thursday and not Coates when he knew Agger will start on Sunday but he picked Coates vs City?

What is rational behind that decision? Why not give a youngster more playing time?

Shelvey is in better form than Gerrard and I can give flying **** if you agree or not.

He gave more in 15 minutes he played than Stevie for 90 minutes today or vs Hearts for that matter.

      That's around £7k.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

No, but it would make him wrong which is just as worrying.

January is where clubs tend to overspend.
                    Are we winning?

Not that it really means anything, but the reaction of Arsenal fans on other forums was interesting. Most of them were saying they were outplayed, crediting us with a good performance, saying we were unlucky, etc. I'm not sure I totally agree with any aspects of that assessment, but them not taking the piss is something different. Not used to opposition fans of any kind being so gracious (sort of).

Our finishing is absolutely ****ing woeful but the team has direction, which is a vast improvement in my opinion. Most players are adapting to the system somewhat well. Gerrard is shocking but otherwise, I can't really complain about the others. Rodgers should at least try switching Suarez and Borini as I really think that would improve our finishing. Borini looks clueless out wide as many have said, but he's supposedly a poacher so why he isn't being started in the center baffles me.

It's discouraging beyond belief sometimes, but I don't feel the pessimism I did when Hodgson was our manager. Even though it's been said over and over again, and it makes me feel like I'm not really contributing anything new, I think the system will bear fruit. It will work, just not as soon as we would like.

If he's free, go for Drogba. He will score goals, lots of them, even if its a 3 month deal, get him on it

Maybe, but it doesn't make any sense - why not just use the money earmarked for January now?
Everyone knows that getting quality in Jan is hard going (including the owners).

I think the £20m budget is for the year/season, obviously sales will top that up.
