He should really be doing better and he isn't. For all the hype he generates, he just doesn't finish the chances he is presented with which is all that counts.
The thing is all those players played in teams with world class players around them whereas Suarez doesn't have that luxury

Gerrard remains the huge problem in this side for me. When he drops deep he's ineffective. Never could play that role and rafa is the only manager that has had the balls to play him where he actually can make a difference.

Our heads didn't go down and we fought back.
        Fitting.

Though Gerrard was decent today but he's going to get it now Carra barely plays.

He was a lot better 2nd half I thought. He was gash first half, like most of 'em though to be fair.

Looking forward to Sahin getting fit.

Who would you drop for Sahin? It won't be Allen, on current form it should probably be Gerrard, but I'm guessing it will be Shelvey.

If after dropping Shelvey too, Gerrard plays ****, BR needs to balls up.

Personally im happy with a point.

Before the game I thought we would lose so a point is a bonus. Its actually a little disappointing because we did enough to take all three points. All we need is a top draw striker like lewandowski from dortmund or someone of that ilk and were firing on all cylinders.

I'd consider inserting Sahin in for Shelvey but only to play DM and push Allen forward.

Firstly I dont think suarez and him are on the same wavelength that torres and him were so you will get some misplaced passes. Secondly I dont think suarez' touch play is good enough to play those types of quick half touches.

I think suarez is making him look worse because of his unpredictability. We dont knw if he will drop deep or look to run over the top. Its hard even over five yards if you and your partner arent thinking the same thoughts.

I assume it will be, although I'm unsure what Gerrard's role in this side will be. I'd like to see him as one of the front three rather than the midfield three.

Until we can make better chances, having another striker won't solve the issue.
