That is a large chunk of our first team if true I really would prefer not to see Skrtel, Agger , Johnson , Gerrard and there is no way Suarez should be playing given the game on Sunday, hopefully this proves to be a hoax

Anyone else notice the Standard Chartered logos on the back of the players' training sweatshirts have been covered up today? No SC logo anywhere on the kits. Seems a bit odd.

Could we be getting a separate training wear sponsor ala Utd or are there some behind the scenes issues with our main sponsor.

Just looked myself and that is a bit strange.

The logo is still splashed all over the website though.

Could it be a regulatory stopping them from advertising in Russia? I know the game is at Anfield but it's probably on TV in Russia against a Russian side?

These are quite a good side, won last 5 on the bounce and top of the Russian League. We really have to win this to be in a strong position in the table, hence why IMO we'll see a stronger side being fielded. Typically enough the derby is on the weekend which will be a tough game.... but i suppose we are lucky in the fact that Pienaar & Felliani will be missing, just as we're lucky Diarra will be missing. About time we got some luck like that.

Oh and just to make us hate footballers even more, no wonder he looks so ****ing happy:

We have such a small squad at moment and the derby is surely the more important of the two games.

I'd rest agger, Johnson, gerrard, sterling, suarez as a bare minimum.

If fit, I'd go for something like this

It won't be pretty but **** it, it's a chance for the youngsters/squad players to stake a claim and it ensure our key players are fresh for the derby

The key three though, gerrard, Suarez, sterling....the on,y dangerous players in our squad at the moment capable of winning a game...I'll be seriously ****ed off if they play tonight...all other positions we have arguable got cover....but they are only players we have who can score/create,

I would say that rumoured starting eleven is too strong; Fair enough, stick some big guns on the bench, but we've got a 'must-win' game coming up and we could do with everybody fighting fit and fresh.

If we wanted to take a serious interest in a cup, I'd prefer I'd prefer it to be the FA Cup.
