The only issue I see is finishing. We held the ball well for long periods but unles that thing goes in the net what's the point..?

I think the team selection was wrong again.

Personally I don't think shelvey is ready for first team football yet and not sure why Henderson isn't starting more.

Were just too easy to play against and it comes down to the midfield. Were not strong enough in that position and we consistently make bad team selections. Until the our soft middle is sorted teams can get at us easily.

We let in lots of goals, that's an issue also.

We are mentally weak, we lack quality players, we have a threadbare squad, we have little or no money, we have Cole and Downing, but apart from that, we're heading the right way.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Is it okay to be slightly pessimistic again now? Not calling for Rodgers' head, but still completely unimpressed by him so far.

We have a young generation of players coming through with bright futures. We are trying to do something not many other teams are by trying to play football the pass and move way. This takes time to develop these ideas and for players to adjust to them. It also needs the right players. I think the progress is showing in our build up play but the fact is we need the right players to execute it. I still think Brendan needs money and time for us to compete for top four.

I feel as if maybe I should avoid these boards for a little while... reading all the comments about how we're going backwards and how we're absolute **** really does my head in.
We come not to play, but to lose.

To be fair, I was thinking the same.
                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I really dont get how we play good enough to create scoring chances yet fail to score...the opposoition then score freak/easy goals against us!
I know some have been pretty harsh towards Tees posts & his views but there are certain things i do agree with. I am struggling to hold back my anger at not being able to beat teams we should be, especially at Anfield...but i will hold that judgement on players/manager untill after the tranny window. If we fail to bring in 'obvious & ambitious' players that it is so clear to see we need then IMO it shows a lack of ambition on what we want to achieve as Liverpool Football Club. As someone said earlier...our aim should always be 1st and where we end up should be a measure of what we need to get/stay there. I also believe that getting the right players is absolutely crucial in making a charge in the league post January.

Well that was not expected. Missed it completely so cannot comment on individual performances, suffice to say we are still vulnerable to a sucker punch. Very disappointed.
