proper ****ed?Originally posted by Rowan View PostThis is the thing that concerns me with Rodgers. I like what he's trying to do. I like his belief and its probably only because of our personnel that it's notworking effectively at the top end of the pitch.
The problem is that he's taken an area which wasn't really a problem (i.e. the defensive part of midfield) and made it the fundamental weakness in our team. He's not only not fixed the part of the machine that is misfiring but his tactics have managed to **** up the only bit that was working reasonably well.
Oh well, after he's had some money to spend in January he'll have no excuse. They'll be his players and his system so if the rabbit gets ****ed then it'll be on his headdave of mutilation

Allen has been our most consistent and best player in first few months but he played way too much and he clearly needs rest.Originally posted by Lecter View PostNeither does Allen and Gerrard has actually contributed some assists and goals this season
What has Allen contributed?
He is not the same player atm (I blame him for the 2nd goal as he should have continued and tracked Weimann all the way and he didn't) but I happen to think he is a good, good player (who is currently low on confidence) and he'll bounce back.
Stevie has been consistently poor this season (in fact I cannot remember when he had a very good game) and even though he is trying his best you just cannot get away from age..
Today he played in much more advanced role and to me it was clear he cannot cut it in that position any longer.
Stevie is a living legend of this club and I love him but he lost his mojo and imo should not be given a free pass.
He wasn't good today as he wasn't good past Sunday or Thursday before and so on.
We talk about this all the time but imo we really should stop living in the past and imo the earlier we realize that the better off we'll be.
We need a replacement for him imo and not soon but now.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Football seasons are not really about turning points as much as they are about trends.Originally posted by el matador View PostI honestly thought udinese was the turning point for Rodgers but just another huge disappointment today.
Proper gutted and shocked at how **** and weak we looked in midfield.Oh I don't know.
