As far as i'm concerned i think Sturridge wants to be out there playing every single game.
The fact he's unable to whether the reason be physical or mental means he needs help, and looking at it now it's help he's not yet received, because he's not playing yet.
Either way we keep trying, if he needs a tough love approach then that's up to Klopp to implement, i think he has a sports science degree so he should know what's what.
But saying that, it wouldn't be the first time a player missed lots of games, and had lots of 'specialist treatments', before something else comes to light that's been missed and is found to be related, is then treated, and solves a lot of the issues.
