Thread bump during an international break= Me thinking he'd got injured again.

I much prefer Daniel starting over coutinho if that is the choice which it seems it is. That attacking line up was by far our best set up. Coutinho is fantastic but doesn't score enough and look at his brain dead efforts yesterday when he kept hitting it at people. When Daniel is fit, he must play as he offers more attacking threat than any of the others. Firmino is best when he plays like he just did, when he's pushed further forward he loses a lot of his impact as has little acceleration. Danny made some lovely runs to drag defenders yesterday and should of had at least two goals himself.

I liked the look of our front 4 yesterday, and although he didn't score Sturridge played a key role in the goals.

The Sturridge/Firmino rotation was key for me. They both had the option of playing wide or being the main striker, dropping deep, or both playing advanced. It looked very promising, and even better with a direct Mane looking to pounce in the spaces too.

Think we look so much better with a striker on the pitch, and Sturridge just seems to get on the other players wavelength no matter which one he is near
