Good luck Daniel. Loved watching him play. Right up there with our very best strikers.

We are now weaker than we were before the January transfer window. Watching all the teams around us get stronger, whilst not replacing Coutinho or Sturridge is madness (even if we did sign Van Dyke). I know the Sturridge isn't as good as he used to be and we all know about his injuries. But despite him not fitting into Klopp's style of play, I'd much rather have him in a goal scoring opportunity thank Ings or Solanke atm. Best of luck at WBA Danny. This city has two great football teams – Liverpool and Liverpool reserves

You only get the opportunity of 2 or 3 World Cups in your career. Sturridge would be mad to think he cannot impact in the current forward line for England (he definitely offers something different than those 2).Originally posted by Liverpool View PostThink his world cup dreams are a bit deluded. Kane first choice obviously, probably Vardy back up. Rashford will go for the experience, maybe play wide. Does Sturridge just want a selfie on the bench
I totally understand his reasons for leaving. I understand less our reasons for letting him go.Modifying post.

Leicester have said they want nearer to £100m for MahrezOriginally posted by Paddy View Post£20m to RBL for Naby. £44m? for Allisson. And then £50m or so for Riyad Mahrez.
That would do nicely.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Hes lost tons of pace though, it wasnt his major assett and he will still be alright for them but a big part of his game was quick feet and going past playersOriginally posted by Zapater View PostDespite the injuries, he's still a really good player. Just won't work for him under Klopp. He'll still do well for many a team. WBA, I'm not sure, but most teams, yes.
I would be surprised if he set the world alight there but he might be good enough for themBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

If they can set the team up to give him chances then he'll do well (providing he stays fit), he's just not the same player as he was in 13/14. The pace he had then is long gone.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
