We need massive investment, Man City levels, or we are looking at many more years in the wilderness IMO. With this current set up things are gonna get worse before they get better IMO.

it's important not to go ahead too early in the game against Manu this season and our tactics so far have been perfect to ensure that this didn't happen.

What are our tactics exactly? We have no shape, no movement and nobody is pressing the ball.

We have somehow found a way to make it look like we have less men when we're defending than United, less men in the middle of the park and less when we're trying to attack.

Allen really is awful. Him and Downing need moving on in the summer as soon as we get in replacements IMO.

Sturridge on, Allen off. Drop Downing into midfield to start the second half. Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling being on the pitch together may open up some space on the pitch.

when you consider that we've got Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Henderson in that area it beggars belief that we can't put put a competitive and energetic midfield.

Our biggest problems are in midfield and tactics aren't clever either.
