Didn't hear what was said, but beating Chelsea last week secured our place in the play offs, so doesn't matter who catches us, we'll still qualify.
An expression I have never heard.

Have you not? I'm assuming you aren't from UK/Ire, but surprised you haven't heard it before.

Was just calling you a jinx (can't think of any other word ) as we were winning 1-0 with only ten mins to go until you posted, so I was implying it was your fault we conceded the equaliser.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've been watching this and am starting to think a barrel is a better idea. I thought it was a little fee-fi-fo-fum to start with but I'm warming to it now.

The barrel idea is the way to go, although I have never seen that type of set up. it takes ages to sterilise and bottle 40 pints.

Try this brewing software, its fantastic if you have a scientific bent. http://beersmith.com

One thing I would add, is try and get a good yeast, it really helps with the final product. Those beer kits don't always supply the best.http://www.wyeastlab.com/hb_yeaststrain.cfm is a good place to for yeasts for home brewing.

No never heard it, I lived in South London for my first 25 years, and the only time I have heard it mention was for Missiles. Your definition did make sense, I did feel it was partly my fault it was a draw, although the main blame should go to Venton as if he had not neglected his duties I would not have had to post. Bad Venton.

I did look scud up in the urban dictionary but none of the explanations made sense. I was rather hoping you didn't mean "a good looking woman from a distance, but ugly close up".

            scud
An incredibly unlucky person. Usually used in the world of sports betting to describe one who, simply by their presence, can cause a seemingly certain bet to be beaten
Agh!!! I've just lost my child support money because of you, you ****ing scud

                Exciting stuff already.

Sadly no Rossiter due to a "slight knock"

Gary Gillespie is very upbeat but clearly struggled there with "Liverpool philosophy" making it sound a lot like "Liverpool felafel". He didn't skip a bit through and left it in his wake confidently. He's looking forward to this one.

Kick off at 7.45 so plenty of time to get a cup of tea. All hoovers and mobile phones on the ads, not an anxious dog in sight tonight. I'm all for charity ads but not one after the other at every break, it makes me sad after a while.

United with a free kick at the corner of our box, Brannagan's foul. They've come out quick. It's cleared up pitch.

Smith ****s up enormously trying to pass across his box but feeding it inadvertently to the Utd forward who hits the post.

Early moments but we certainly haven't put our foot on the ball for more than a couple of seconds yet.

We've had our first sortie upfield and Brannagan's shot it blocked and loops into the keeper's arms.

Good work down the wing by United clears us out and the cross into the box is walloped over the bar. Utd look dangerous.
