We look lethal in the final third - their keeper was man of the match despite ours saving a penalty to win: says it all.

Put Suarez in that team- we are gonna dick on a lot of teams.

On the negative- Mig looks dodgy on crosses, Enrique is not up to it and we play wide open so need better, quicker, defenders.

Stoke was always going to be difficult to play with considering they are a team of giants, that said well happy with the possession game we played and special mentions have to goto Lucas who bossed the midfield with his possession, position and tackling, Couts was fine and sturridge did well considering how slippery it was out there, Kolo who actually had a fine debut and solid, actually pleased for him and the Mig, shaky at first but delivered in his first match...having said that though, Begovic was the MOM..

Great performance,looked very familiar for a long time with us missing chances and then giving away the penalty,deja vu I thought.Thankfully Mignolet changed that!

Johnson & Enrique offered good width & although Toure resorted to hoof ball at times I thought he did well. Really pleased & got the score right so 10 points in the bank.

Still not sorted out our defence to cope with crosses and free kicks but our attacking play is coming along nicely especially when you consider that Suarez is not available. Great start but really would love a dominant CB brought in this window.

Lots of positives but, defending in general, not just the defence, was shoddy at times.

And Cissoko will have to be really **** to not get in the team ahead of Enrique.

We did look very uncomfortable defending set pieces and corners.. but Stoke are the biggest side in the league & give anyone trouble with set pieces.

P.S. What on earth was Agger doing??

Bit worried by what I saw from Mignolet in terms of crosses. Hopefully it was a one off, and not a weakness to be exploited. Did well when it came to shot stopping. May miss Reina's distribution, as that was worth a coupe of goals a season.

Aspas looked good. Needs more man strength though.

Toure did okay against weak opposition.

Good team play though.

Is it me or has BT Sport seemed very amateurish.

I was thinking it at half time but didn't want to jinx it, maybe Mignolet brings a bit of luck with him, unpunished mistakes for a change!

Kolo was brilliant! Agger got dominated in the air but Kolo won virtually everything, very happy with him.

We created a good few chances and were unlucky in some aspects but in others we still need to be a bit more ruthless but that's with a half fit Sturridge, no Suarez and a debut for Aspas.

Still think we looked very shaky when the countered and put the ball in the box but what a way to end a game.. I've missed this but I think its a cert for a heart attack
