We should have started to believe it when we thrashed Everton but we limped to a 2-2 draw.

Like I say, it will be a huge result but won't do anything else for us apart from get us 3 points and strengthen City and Chelsea's claim for title.

We dropped 4 points we should have 2 vs Villa and 2 vs WBA in very short time span and win tomorrow would go a long way but it is not the end of the world if we don't win.

We will still be very much in the mix for the final spot just our margins for errors are getting smaller and smaller.

I'm glad Chelsea beat City as it means the distance to the top is less than it could've been. In all probability we won't win it but if we're aiming for 3rd then we may as well aim for top spot seeing that only 2 points separate the 3 of them.

As Mr Pellegrini says, there's 42 points to play for. If we beat all three above us then we can win the league. Do I think we can beat those three? Yes

Having seen Arsenal's fixtures over the next few weeks, if we continue our form I think we could have a good chance of making the top 3.

Tough fixture pile up for them, but come April they have an easier run in. We'd need to be ahead of them by then or hope their confidence had gone. 5 points is nothing at this stage if you can win all your own games, but we've shown we are not capable if that just yet.

Our major problem is a lack of quality on the bench to bring on when others aren't at the races. That has cost us a crack at the title. Konoplyanka would have been a massive signing for that reason. We don't really need a winger if we had everyone fit & firing, but when we drop off we needed options.

What we lack is somebody to change it in the last twenty minutes - thats what the top three, and UTD until recently could do. Twenty minutes to go and throw on a bit more quality to lift things.

I don't think we'll have enough to win the title this season but to be in the top 4 in February and only 6 points off the lead is really impressive.

Hopefully this will give us a real platform to go out and improve again in the Summer.

I've been pretty relaxed about not strengthening the squad, but with the increase in games next year with European competition, we definitely need reinforcements.
