I feel the way you do.

My answer is no, I don't think we will win it. I know it sounds negative but I'm being realistic here.

I still think it will either be Chelsea or City BUT, if we were to win against both of those at home and we will have still been picking up points en route then my answer would be yes. I think will win it at that point but realistically I can't see it happening.

I'm also in the 'too good to be true' camp but since Rafa's last season I've found it difficult to be optimistic about us. Too many knocks.

On the flipside this does feel special...the momentum, the results, the style, the performances....it feels like something ****ing mega is happening.

There is nothing to support my theory other than just a hunch but I have a feeling that Aspas will score an extremely important goal come the end of the season.

Deep down, I think 3rd is our best hope, but like Shaggy, this does feel special, as though it's building up to something truly incredible.

There'd be no shame whatsoever in that, because progress has been astronomical this season.

I believe we will win it simply because of our momentum. We have peaked at the right time, and all our players seem to be hitting top form.

We know we can score goals against anyone, but we also have got into the habit of picking up clean sheets lately.

I genuinley believe that the SAS will fire us to the league title.

Yup. Think how strongly we finished last season. Combine that with the form and belief we are showing this season and it points to a strong finish. No team has gone from seventh to Champions and we all know that we like to rewrite hitstory.

I try to keep myself grounded but can't help getting giddy at the thought of winning the title. I also keep telling myself that if it doesn't happen, we will still have exceeded expectation, but I know I'll be gutted if we fall short. on the plus side, the experience this title challenge will have on a young squad can only benefit us in the long-term.

                Another valid point.

Even after the first goal, Gerrard didn't go crazy. He didn't even celebrate while others were very ecstatic. He probably realised we needed one more to get the job done and job done we did. He celebrated the 2-0 pretty well though

Better? We've been dismantling teams for months. Can we get much better? By any historical comparison of our form this is a peak. Can we keep it up for 9 more games? **** knows but it's a massive ask.
                      Oh I don't know.

I just walked past a fat Sturridge look a like. It's an omen.

I'm currently in the lets just enjoy the ride camp. It's really exciting to be in the mix but I'd make us third favourites at the minute (with a fair distance between our chances and Chelsea/City's).

We won't be rewriting history if we win it though. We'll be writing it!

Well yes, as it seems we're becoming more solid and tactically aware now.
                            Are we winning?

I don't think we'll be winning it and I hope that the excitement that exists now doesn't breed too much disappointment with a more probable third place finish, which would represent a fantastic league campaign by any measure.

Exactly, there was loads of improvement to be had in our defensive game.
