Obviously though football matches aren't tosses of a coin and matches are far more complex and rarely 50/50 affairs.

Surely it gets less relevant the longer the run goes on. If we get 13 wins on the trot, does that make the Newcastle match harder, purely because no other team has won 14 in the same season (ignoring all other factors obviously)?

I honestly can’t get my head round this logic that we are unlikely to win the next six because we’ve already won our last eight. I can accept that we are unlikey to win the six because winning six games any time is a big ask, but having already won eight will have little bearing on how far we can go.

I actually don't think we will win our next six, but I do still think we'll win the league. I just hope it's in our own hands when we play Newcastle and we're not relying on City or Chelsea dropping points as that would be a brutal last day.
