I think the general consensus is that both Sterling and Moses were utter ****e, I would have subbed both of them at half time.
Agree with you about Johnson although tbf I think Bruce set up his team to keep both GJ and Suarez out of the game.

I think it really showed today that this was a bit of a makeshift side and it just didn't work out up top.
Yep, we didn't have any till Coutinho came on really.

Agreed, but it's the management team's job TO find them. If we can't sign the obvious superstars then we need to find the gems that's what they are paid to do. For some reason Liverpool hasn't signed a hidden gem since Hyppia, as a club we're just not very good at it.

Need to wake up as a squad. There are tough games coming up and that was shockingly bad.
spot on... Toure/Skrtel not a good combo.

Sterling needs a loan move.. and even then i don't know if he'll make it in the premier league never mind for us. Moses is infuriating, even if you're not having a good game.. the very least you can do is out effort in. He just strolls about not a bother to him.

Toure had such a bad game, really thought Rodgers would whip him off at half time.

Don't think Sterling and Moses should be at the club, sterling really needs to go out on loan and Moses have his cancelled, and too much chopping around in defence no continuity

And why didn't Coutinho start? Baffling.

I wasn't particularly disappointed with the starting line-up - with the injuries / knocks it was probably pretty close to the line-up most of us would have picked. But god-dammit some of the fringe players let themselves down today. If we can't bring these squaddies in against Hull then its pretty disappointing. Toure, Sterling and Moses were all very poor.

However, what annoyed me more was the lack of changes Rodgers made early in the second half. I thought it was pretty clear that things weren't working for us, yet nothing was changed. With Sterling and Moses both dire, it left a pretty obvious gap in our tactics that left Suarez extremely isolated, and both of them should have been subbed much earlier.

Lucas, Gerrard and Skrtel all worked hard. That's about the limit of my positives from that though

Hey ho, we can't win them all

All the other players are expected to do more than that except him, but that's his role so it's okay if he has no impact on the game whatsoever and gets dominated by the Hull midfielders.
                      LOL

He did have an impact on the game and he wasn't dominated by the Hill midfielders at all! I mean come on, nobody in their right mind can think the Hull midfield were bossing this game?!

We were **** today, we gifted the game to them. Any credit to Hull is for excellent parking of the bus well and putting a good shift in collectively - that's more or less it.

Coutinho didn't train all week. Had a high ankle sprain. Rodgers said it before the game.
                          Are we winning?

I don't care what the general consensus is, at least they were trying and gave the Hull defence something to do. Once they went off we had no pace and it was a stroll for Hull. Just sit back in numbers and hit us on the break - too easy.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend to be a scouting expert and I don't watch hours of YouTube clips. However from what I've seen other 'lesser' clubs seem to sign good players at a higher ratio and cheaper price than us. Now this could be a misperception but that's how I view it from my arm chair.
