Lucas biggest problem is that he's a defensive midfielder who no longer defends very well unless a lot of teammates are around him to defend too. "Defensive midfielders" are supposed to free up players to go forward, not drag them back to help. -

He is nowhere near a Carragher. And Rodgers is right. When the ball comes in our area from open play our defending is shambolic. Every defender ****s themselves. Its nothing to do with agression. It is organisation

We really struggle big time when Coutinho isn't starting a game or involved from the get-go. We lose a lot of creativity and tempo.I wear my heart on my profile name.Comment

Sturridge getting injured in the last training session before the game probably didn't help with the plans but even so we have to be able to cope with that. It's what a squad is for.
But everyone looked completely lethargic today.
I hope its just a blip but we cannot have too many blips if we have ambitions for a top 4.
City and Arsenal don't look like they are going to drop points at the moment. I think Chelsea will come through strong so really its the Mancs we need to stay above if we want 4thComment
