    Need to try Henderson there. At least he has an engine.

      Not keen on that! He was all over the place.

        Contract up in 18 months will have to take a pay cut to stay and probably won't get a long term contract, always said he wants to play abroad but also rumours that Arsenal are interested with Sagna out of contract in the summer.

          Maybe BR sees Gerrard playing behind Henderson and Allen? No Lucas?
          Another MASSIVE game

            I dunno, I like to think that's out of character for the player. He might have been that way out as a young lad but he's been a good professional for LFC. I'm more of the opinion he's playing through injury...

              So he should be upping his game if he either wants a new contract or wants to sign for another big Club.

                  Been a bit Ropey for quite a while now though well before he was injured.

                    This was my assumption, too. Trying it out now basically so that when Allen's fit again Gerrard's up to speed with the new role.

                      @Chazza

                      Doesn't mean he's not carrying something more long term though, it happens all the time. Be interesting to see what happens in the close season. He might be delaying an op for after the World Cup

                        True but I think he will be off in the summer unless he will take less money.

                            Carra explaining Gerrard's role today, seems him and Didi think he did pretty well today

                              Even if we get into the champions league were going to have to sort this defence out quickly because better teams will cause us a lot of problems.

                                His passing was a bit off, but I thought he mopped up well on a number of occasions in and around our area.
