On the whole, it was a poor team performance (players and management). Time to move on.

You could tell from about 20 mins in that toure had left his brain in the changing room. Charging about with the ball, aimless passing just giving it away constantly.

We wondered why city would let him leave only to bring in dimichelis. Well we know why they did.

But that is a single issue, if we could have controlled the game then we would have been able to attack more and been under less pressure.

It was a disastrous a moment that literally costs us 3 points there's no avoiding that. West Brom had nothing, despite our poor midfield play.

On the bigger picture we do need to rebuild our back 6. If we get in to the top 4 money has to be spent on the back 4 and centre mid.

Just watched the Kolo mistake again. No way was the keeper to blame. We obviously work on playing it out from the back (should i say we obviously plan to, it's less than obvious that we work on it) and it was supposed to go; keeper to Toure, Toure first time to Gerrard in space, Gerrard carries it forward looking for a pass. But Toure didn't play it first time, he took an extra touch, the ball to Gerrard was gone and he panicked, hitting it vaguely where Gerrrard had started pointing.

Basically we saw today that our team is just Sturridge and Suarez. If they don't fire there are no goals from anywhere else in the team.

Seen it so many times - we score and then try to pass it around like Barcelona at a snails pace. Except we aren't Barcelona at all. We aren't good enough to hold on to the ****ing ball half the time. Suarez looked frustrated, Sturridge had one of those days, Henderson is playing within himself (perhaps due to his role), Cissokho and Toure is just a car crash of a left sided defensive duo, just woeful. You can visibly see that the team thinks Cissokho is wank, he knows it, everyone ****ing knows it but we have no other fit full backs. The mind boggles. We need Sakho, Agger and Enrique back so badly it's painful

I think that our passing game is suffering from having too many incompetent defenders who **** themselves when they have the ball and see someone 10 yards from them. It's holding us back significantly.

Cissokho is a Konchesky level LB. Kolo Toure as a left sided CB is a disaster. He doesn't know what he's doing.

We're really pushing for a top 4 finish with a mid table quality back line.
