On the bigger picture we do need to rebuild our back 6. If we get in to the top 4 money has to be spent on the back 4 and centre mid.

Toure messed up big time no doubt about it. But I'm getting fed up with how reactionary Rodgers is. I was sat here watching it with my friend and both of us were saying Brom are starting to come into the game and that we need more control in the midfield. It made so much sense to bring Allen on at the time but we never did. I even posted on another forum "is Rodgers going to wait for Brom to score like he's done in the past before he realises a change is needed to be made." I'm so frustrated because had we had better control in the midfield I think we would have gone on to win the game easily

I think that our passing game is suffering from having too many incompetent defenders who **** themselves when they have the ball and see someone 10 yards from them. It's holding us back significantly.

Cissokho is a Konchesky level LB. Kolo Toure as a left sided CB is a disaster. He doesn't know what he's doing.

We're really pushing for a top 4 finish with a mid table quality back line.

I see the usual "world is ending" post match thread when we don't win

An individual error seemingly cost us the three points, without that error we'd have won the game I'm afraid all players from time to time make serious errors or judgement and sometimes it costs dearly.

Quite possibly the best player to have played for us has done the same on a few occasions.



Dust ourselves down and move onto the Arsenal game, we're still in 4th and are in pole position to take this come the end of the season.

As ever some perspective would be nice but then so would world peace & I feel I'm unlikely to get either in here at the moment.

Yes, and Rodgers never made the adjustment at half time that I expected him to.

When you're being pressed deep, there's no shame in sending a few direct balls over the top to isolate Suarez and Sturridge in space. Instead we kept trying to crash into a brick wall with Skrtel and Toure "playmaking" against a pressing front line.

And we also really need to **** off the high ball into a full back (Cissokho) to nod it on. That crap should go.
