**** mourinho and his ****ing alehouse tactics
I cannot ****ing wait for this game. I can't remember the last time before this season that i look forward to every single game so much. I fully expect us to smash them.
Everyone knows that if we play as well as we can we'll win.

good thing for us is it changes nothing - we will prepare and set up the same way, with the same tactics and same mentality whether we were playing chelsea's kids in a friendly or whether it was the intergalactic cup final against the Milky Way All Stars.
It will help us of course that chelsea will no doubt rest a few key players...but they still have a strong enough squad to field a good side...
however what is key is the mindset........for weeks/months jose has been saying his strikers are **** and guess what, they all look ****ing fed up and play ****. For weeks jose's been saying they aren't in the title chase.....and guess what....the team doesn't turn up and loses points to palace, villa and sunderland.
so if he carries on with this attitude then great. They'll turn up here and their target will be "just don't get turned over 6-0"i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

The point about mind-set is a good one, PeeTeePee.
Sure, what is said in public may be different to what Mourinho parps to the players, but if those players chosen think of themselves as part of a 'weakened team', then that can't be good for morale.
I'm sure some players will see what happened to Cech and Terry and think twice about that 50/50 ball on Sunday if Mourinho keeps saying they're going for the Champions League.

i think it's back fired on him and made him look even more of a tit
he goes in to his press conferences, all smug and cocky and full off himself
and he feeds all this **** out - prob thinking he is being clever, i'll act all like this to the world - but behind close doors i'll tell my players different etc etc
problem is - he continues to do it....non stop....he continues to act petulant....to blame other people etc etc - it's slowly started to filter through into his players.
Theyve already been given the excuses and had any blame taken away from themi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Ramires is the key one
i think if he gets suspended, Mourinho will completley flip
- then in what he will see as a protest and snub to the league, he'll defo pick a joke side for us
his argument will be "you (the fa) don't want to help me, you are against us, we are in europe representing you, but you don't want us to be successful in europe" blah blah blah
i look at the chelsea side and think - key players
cech
terry
cahill
ramires
hazard
they are the ones that fight, make them tick. Perform big - win games - Cech/Terry defo out, and i'd be shocked if Hazard made a return from injury for our game as they will want him 100% fit for the 2nd leg
Cahill is an interesting one though......will Jose 'risk' cahill against us? - surely Cahill has to start against us...but if he got a knock and missed the 2nd leg then they'd be ****ed.
And if ramires gets a ban, i'd be buzzing - because he's their engine.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Anyone else caught the post Norwich match presser from Brendan? Just oozes class. The man artfully deflects any title talk and centres the convo on the performance, getting 96 goals, aiming to improve the players, to get more goals, and the wins will follow. "We only focus on ourselves." "Sunderland's win certainly helped but you have to help yourself."
He even turned a question about Chelsea stumbling in the title race with the loss at home to Sunderland into praise about Mourinho's incredible home record!Last edited by I, Ravel Morrison; 23-04-14, 10:58 AM.I wear my heart on my profile name.

Terrified? What have we got to be scared of?Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostThis game terrifies me far more than any other so far this season. We should be good enough to beat them but I have a feeling he's going to try every dirty trick in the book. It's going to be tough this game, really tough.
His tedious mind games should start tomorrow too once they've got the Ateltico game out of the way
Nervous? Yes, of course, it's the biggest game we've had since the last one (they are all ****ing massive now), but we have nothing to be scared of.
Chelsea struggle to score goals and only have an OK record away from home. We score goals for fun and have a mega home record. Nothing to be scared of at all. They'll be tough to beat, but unlike City I'm not sure they have the players to rip us apart if they have a great day.
