Despite having zero expectations today I still can't shake the feeling of total deflation.

Amazing season that has been a hell of a ride from the very start, but will take a few days for me to start feeling optimistic again.

I don't understand the narrative that we won't be as good next season because everyone else will strengthen. City will not be a better team next season. There are just no players to buy and make their team better. Their top players have peaked.

Chelsea will have to sign a top class striker as well as replace Hazard, who's their most important player.

Arsenal are bottlers. Mancs aren't doing what we did next year.

We have infinitely more room for growth and improvement.

Lol, you keep selling this Nigey but it isn't really true. Johnson has been a disaster recently. Flannagan, red tinted specs aside, has an awful lot more development to do. And there are questions of sorts over all our centre backs really. We most definitely need, and will sign, several defensive players this summer. We have systemic work to do too, but some of it does come down to the players, you can see that if you analyse most of the goals we concede.

Johnson should be the first name on the transfer list this summer. I've stuck by him but he has been terrible and hs proved not good enough.
