Markovic playing today. Although he's 24 he still shows the keen abilities of someone who's had about 25 minutes competitive football in the last 6 years.

We're definitely having the best of it in the first 20 autumnal minutes at Boreham Wood.

Having said that Arsenal get the first one - one the break as well. Liam Miller, who has not been on it so far, misplaces a pass up the right hand side and a quick break later they're in the box leaving Grabara no chance.

A more of what I can only call fannying, and that's being kind to them, around at the back and Arsenal get another. Seriously, trying to do little triangles and dribbling in your own box is going to make you look like a proper shower of bellends. I hope that's a lesson learned.

Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool

I've got more pace than Markovic. He constantly looks like a man who is one minute late for getting his tram but knows it's always two minutes late anyway. ****ing hopeless.

Couple of chances that we've just not get on the end of - Adam Lewis playing well on the left. Camacho also looks good at right back.

****ing hell, Markovic poking the ball forward lackadaisically like a man trying to check if a pigeon is dead, as if Adikanye can suddenly run like Steve Austin to get it. Then he puts his hands on his hips as if it's all beneath him. You might as well put an umbrella stand out there. Why the hell are we playing him?

Good lord. Arsenal have just missed a good chance after it bobbled around the box, Tyrell Corp Gearge Jones knocking it just wide.

Grabara pulls off a stunning one handed save to deny Jones Jules again. What a save.

[Venton]

I'd say we are on the ropes at the moment. Arsenal are doing an "us" to us right now. A couple of our cogs are not working properly and it's meant that we're just hanging on.

[Venton]

Adikanye has one cleared off the line. I have to say that was quick fantastic by the Arsenal defender. Otherwise that was a certain goal. We're starting well this half but we did in the first one as well...

[Venton]

Some very nice football being played by both sides here but Arsenal carry more menace. Adikanye looks our biggest threat though, doing well.

[Venton]

Markovich summons the last ounce of his overstretched energy to get his head to the ball in the box forcing a fine save from the Arsenal keeper. I was exhausted just looking at it.

[Venton]

Grabara with another good save there. Going to be a top keeper this lad.
