Match report here for the U21’s 4-1 win over Wolves. Trey Nyoni got a mention. This is our 6th win from 8 matches which is brilliant when you consider how many of the more experienced youth players were sent out on loan.

We won it 8-7 which is a good result without Nyoni & Morrison who played for the U19’s yesterday.

I honestly though the U21's of all the top teams would be way better than league 1 or 2 standard.

But as far as i am aware they very rarely make it out the group stages and last time i looked we only had ever won 1 game.

I think the biggest difference would be the physicality actually.

Not many of the top players were involved. We have plenty on loan and the better players played in the European youth competition the day before. I didn’t recognise many of the names, Jay Spearing was playing.

Must be difficult with those players having years of experience battling it out like that and they must love getting into these young players from top clubs

For the vast majority of them it’s the one win against Liverpool or the likes to add to their CV.

U18’s had a good win against Stoke 2-0. The lads rode their luck at times but got the result. The ex Chelsea kid Ngumoha certainly looks a prospect & Trey Nyoni looks a cut above everyone else out there.
