Thought you were messing with that figure so went and had a look at who they have loaned out.

Yep but there's a difference between what Chelsea/man city can spend and what we can.

Made this point before, we're the only club outside the super rich bracket that has done this.

If Klopp is looking for someone to step in for Mane for a month, why waste money when we have Markovic who is not getting his game out on loan...We should bring him back in as cover & let Sheyi Ojo be the one to replace Mane for that period then at the same time, let Klopp & his coaches have a good look at Markovic as there is something of a player in there!

Maybe so, but we spent €20m on him so would like to see him under current management as certain players develop slower than others & a bit of patience wouldn't go amiss with Markovic.

He's had a rough ol' time of it in the last couple of years since moving to Liverpool where he was expected to hit the ground running under Brendan Rodgers & played out of position at times then sent out on loan to Turkey in an environment totally alien to England or Portugal, comes back to Liverpool under new management so I'd say he would be apprehensive...Dug his heels in on another loan late in the summer, only to relent at the last minute seeing that it was his former boss at Benfica who wanted him at Sporting but that's going belly up.

I really think that if we bring him back & show him a little bit of Klopp love, he will develop his potential to become a lethal player.
