I reckon the De Ligt boat sailed as soon as they started talking about the wages hes expects

If Lovren goes I expect us to go for another prospect or low key signing

A discussion broke out about him on the Man U thread. I was as sick of him as everyone else back in the Brendan era when he was massively error prone. Klopp has made him much better and it is not far off 2 years since he had a bad game.

He gets grief because people recall how bad he was.

I think he is an invaluable member of the squad and if we get defensive injuries it seems unlikely we will be able to bring in a better defender that knows our systems and has performed to such a high level.

It's weird but I don't really want him to go I've grown fond of him

Still a liability though. 29 probably the last chance to cash in. If we could bring another young talent in to learn under Virg it's worth doing imo.

We all know how important VVD is to us and klopp wanted him to be our main man, so if klopp can see how degsy creates uncertainty and grief for the team and Virge then maybe he will be flogged off to fene or gala, they do love to iveroay for a big name.
