**** knows what's going on behind the scenes but it seems he's not happy at being fourth choice (he does come across as very alpha-male) so he's being moved on.

Hoever looks a hell of a prospect but he's 17. So is Sepp van den Berg. It's wild enough throwing 17 year olds into attacking positions. Playing 17 year olds at centre-back at this level is just bat****.

On the other hand, Lovren can't stay fit for longer than a month or so without picking up some sort of niggle, and that's pretty useless especially when you're on 100k p/w.

Both words often attributed with Dejan ironically.

Bye bye Dejan. Looks like he's definitely off.

There will be a few more leaving from our Premier League rivals in the next week or so I'd imagine.

Did anyone else see that video of Lovren after the CL shouting at Mane? Was he being a bit of a cunt? Is he a cunt? As in would Klopp want him out?

    It's a good offer, he's on big wages and he's 4th choice.

Makes sense I think. Hopefully this means we think one or 2 of the youngsters are ready to step up and be more involved as squad players.

Got to be Van Den Berg covering as 4th choice centre-back when we play in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. I can see Hoever covering at right back.

I think his value is also because of his wages. He's on £100k a week, or something like that.

The triumvirate of Migs, Moreno and Lovren leaving only Fools (doh, fills) me with relief. I prefer seeing a youngster like Hoever or Berg as fourth choice knowing that Fabinho can cover if they blow it too often.

I dont see the point in keeping a player that knows he is 4th choice when he could easily be 1st choice in 95% of other teams in top leagues. Especially when the 3 ahead of him at Liverpool are of a different level ability wise.

He seems good for squad morale, but if a player is not happy about playing. There is only so long you can keep him from rocking the boat, intentionally or not.

Its good to have depth, but it might be better to bring up a younger player to be around VVD, Gomez and Matip day to day and learn from them?

Man City currently only have 3 recognised centre backs. Although I know Guardiola is a it of a pervert for a fullback.

Looks like we are selling him for 15m. Absolutely bizarre.

Hard to disagree with either of you to be fair. I think £25m gives us scope to find a replacement but will it actually buy someone who improves us as our 4th choice? Probably not

£15m rarely gets you anything these days, I know he gets alot of stick but he's as good a 4th choice CB as you will get. It'll probably cost us that to get a replacement who really is a 4th choice CB. Unless Lovren is desperate to leave I don't see the point as we won't get a better player and it's not like we need the money.

Even £15m would be decent for someone of his age (30 yesterday) who's only going to get game time with us in the event of an injury.
