Very good game from Dejan, I think most of us agree on that, it's just the typical crap house from certain punditry and fans that will place him as the scapegoat ...also espn 6/10 match rating for him...wtf is that all about?

BT pointed it out pefectly, one time i agree with Rio.. bad situation but wrong gamble. Watch it if you are genuinely interested and if you're not don't

    Man of match anyways

Rio was talking absolute bollocks......after-the-fact analysis that the likes of himself and Carra have specialised in within the punditry circle.
Perhaps he was under the impression that Dejan had the speed of a juiced up Usain Bolt not only to cover the run, but also cover the area vacated by a CB on the deck.
Of course, 'that's what I'd have done Rio' has some weird recollection of his own ability to suggest that.

Lovren made a percentage call of a bad situation and only for Robbo being slightly the wrong side, it would have been the right one.

No problem with him tonight. Good performance all round, important goal etc

I'm not a fan of his but it's clear he has a strong mentality and that's crucial to this team. He was decisive at half time challenging the ref alone on what was a ****ing shocking first half refereeing performance and rightly so too. He also pops up with some vital goals when needed. That header may have just put us through to the knockout stages.

Scored a crucial goal. The one player in the squad I'm not a fan of is playing fairly well of late. Excellent stuff dejan, keep it up. Just as well we kept hold.

Yeah Rio said similar that Dejan gambled on the offside, incredibly harsh. Given Virgil would have been stood next to him it is moot.

It was a perfectly timed run, onside by a ball hair.

Keeper could have done better, but it was a good finish.

I thought he (we) was a bit lucky for the goal.

    Praise indeed.

I realised he reminds me (personality wise) of my French mate Christophe, who I don’t see any more. So I have a soft spot for big Degsy.

But he’s been great since he came on for big Joel.

Good game, apart from the feeble attempt at a tackle that let the player then go tumbling into fabinho.

Solid game and a thumping header too. Fair play, Degsey

We've conceded in 11 out 13 but only conceded 11 in total. Basically we're conceding a single goal in nearly every game but never more than 1 so far this season
It's muppets on those shows that I can't stand with their lies, remarks & false statistics & even worse are the listeners who take their word...no wonder the UK are in a mess with Brexit etc.
