If only we had played Gomez instead; guaranteed clean sheet and definitely wouldn’t lose a battle with a big physical striker.

he's a cluster****.
He has played **** all footy in recent months. Came in against Shrewsbury and was garbage. Came in against Watford and was garbage.
The fact that Klopp didn't even have him on the bench last night against chelsea would suggest that he agrees. If he was half the player that he thought he was, then Jurgen would have been able to give Virgil a rest. He's been a let down. I hope he doesn't play for LFC again.

Someone said it here before.
Lovren has to be confident, but not so confident that he is aware of it. Because when he knows he is playing well with confidence, he does stupid stuff that makes him **** up.
That being said, he is our worst CB. So I cant see him being here next season.

Fabinho is also poor at the moment, but we at least know that he is capable of being world class. Lovren invites criticism with his cocky attitude too.
I think back to after the final last year, when he pushes Mane out of a photo with the trophy- “move, MOVE!!”. Such a cunty thing to do, especially given the contribution Mane made to winning it.. Lovren should have been thanking him for the medal..
If ever there was evidence that you don't have a balanced view on him.
He seems very tongue in cheek with his humour, playing up to the tough Croat stereotype. He seems sound to me.

Can’t speak for any of the other critics of Lovren, but I never blamed him for any other players bad performance last weekend, don’t know if anyone did tbh?

Which wasn’t my point at all. Scapegoating individuals and even using them to excuse the poor performances of others is illogical.

Yes you are right.
Lovren is a top class defender who had an off day. End of story

Saturday was a ****show because he was bullied by Deeney and those players around him affect by Dejan's lack of composure and game time.
