Wanyama was injured a lot last season & Clyne was only establishing himself. Bertrand has come in for Shaw who is weak defensively.. and even though he is a much less progressive fullback and yet he has more productivity in 15 games this season than Shaw has all last season. Also, they have got in Forster who is a very good GK.. far superior to Boruc.

They've also got a new manager. Lovren is a major problem to any defence. Their team has a great balance to it, never expected Koeman to do this well.

Lovren played well last season and wasn't a problem. Many people questioned why we hadn't signed him after showing interest. IMO he's a decent defender. Is he a top 4 defender? Is he worth over £20m? That's the questions that need answering. I'll see how he does over the course of the season.

At the price I'd have expected him to settle immediately. He hasn't, in that sense he's been a flop. But his career at LFC is far from being on the rocks. And the cost of a player is always judged when they leave.

Edit: Actually am wrong there. I thought Ronald de Boer was the assistant manager at Ajax. Seems he is the A1 assistant manager there.

For the second (offside goal), Lovren and Skrtel are so deep, and once again, neither are capable of communicating with each other. Remember at West Ham away, when they both went for the same ball in the air and knocked each other out?

He was garbage again today. Looks well over priced if we'd paid £8.5m. We will be lucky to recoup £5m when he's sold to an Italian or French club. Hate to think the wages he's picking up too.

Appalling signing.. one of the worst of ever at LFC considering the amount of game time he's had and the amount of mistakes he makes in every single game. He has cost us so many goals this season with his individual mistakes, bad positioning & defensive lapses... plus he puts the ****s up everyone around him.

One of the worst partnerships in the history of the league. Painfully bad. I still have a tiny ray of hope he'll look better without Marty next to him but it's not really based on much at the mo other than the little run we had when Skrtel was out and we conceded just 2 in 3 games. He's been dreadful.

Skrtel is average. Lovren is totally shorn of confidence and shouldn't be in the team. The clearance today, just kick it wide. That's all Carra used to do, kick it in the stands in dangerous situations.

Skrtel is ok but he's a hell of alot better than Lovren. Skrtel's problem is that he's brainless, Lovren's problem is that he just ****ing ****
