Skrtel had the odd good season, and he could score goals. He was awful, but less awful than Dejan.

n November 2010 Lovren was listed in the Don Balón list of the 100 best young players in the world.
At the conclusion of his first season in the Premier League, Lovren was named in Bloomberg Sports' Power 50 list, which provides statistical rankings of performances from players in Europe's top five leagues. He was the fifth-highest ranked player from the Premier League in 31st position
Is this down to Fonte? Wanyama & Shneiderlin?
Is he playing really ****e because of Mig or the lack of defensive coaching at Liverpool.
He is no way as **** as he is showing at the moment!!!_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

The 2010 top 100 list is a little interesting for us LFC supporters. On it were
Coutinho
Sakho
Wijnaldum
Lovern
Balotelli
Henderson
Wilson
Edit: Just looked at the next year and from the 2011 list we have or have had nine from it.
Coutinho
Borini
Markovic
Suso
Shelvey
Yesil
Sterling
Pacheco

Be interesting to see what happens, but I suspect that Dejan has been offered as many chances as he can so far from Klopp. He has dropped Mignolet and Kariusbefore due to performance issues, so he knows how to get a response. The issue is that the guys coming in are typically **** as well
so we end up having to revert back soon after.
I'd rather see Klavan, who though limited and not that great seems more relaible than Lovren. Or Gomez, who will need to get up to speed quick, but again seems a better alternative than the hapless Croat.Modifying post.

Caught up with MOTD2 just now as I missed Sunday's game.
**** me, never seen anything like it from a defender. It's pretty comical from Dejan. I've seen some poor defending from him in the past but Sunday took it to a new level.
He's total horse****, his brain seems to be around 20 seconds too slow in reacting to who or what is going on around him. So bad.
I'd like to add that the other ****ers around him weren't much better either.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

He follows this pattern though if he makes a mistake early on he loses his head.Originally posted by gratziani View PostLooked like he was mentally shot on the pitch,
Must be other influences going on because it was scary how bad he was.
That mistake for the second was so bad a defenders with an iota of sense never makes, nothing to do with carrying an injury and all to do with not being competent in the head.

I don't think Klopp loves him, he's just playing him out of necessity. If we had signed a defender or two like Klopp wanted, Lovren would be on the bench for sure. Another calamitous window like the last one then I think Klopp will walk, his reputation is being shot to pieces with our comical transfer dealings.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostPretty high I'd say. Klopp loves him, hope to **** he doesn't play him ever again but I can't see it happening.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

One of Lovren's biggest problems is that he plays the occasion/opponent rather than the game of football. The bigger the opponent/occasion the more he tries to dominate. I think he wanted to physically dominate Kane and tried to be overly aggressive in his play - second goal being a prime example by attacking a ball he could never win. And as many have said one mistake and his head goes to pieces.Originally posted by gratziani View PostLooked like he was mentally shot on the pitch,

Johnny Giles used to commentate on Irish tv years ago and he always said to take each game, part of the game in its merits and Lovren doesn't do that.
