Concentration. This can be applied to all the players, not just Lovren. We just don't know how to manage games. We are poor at this and this needs sorting out.

Brilliant? Do me a favour and rewatch the game. There were several moments in the second half he starting diving in and getting dragged out. He's ****ing **** like Mignolet. And Moreno. Kick them out before they **** you up.

he was a mess the whole game constantly jumping in needlessly & vacating his space. Matip was brillinat beside him today.

Mig, Karius, Moreno (bit better this season), Lovren .... same guys making the same mistakes over and over and over.

I've been very critical of Lovren but I think he could form a good partnership with VVD. van Dijk's leadership and organisation skills could bring the best out of Dejan (take the pressure off him - IMO he's often tried too hard to be the leader).

It would put Lovren on the right of the CBs, where he looked more comfortable (in the Sakho/Lovren days). Having Clyne outside instead of Moreno probably helped provide a bit more solidity, mind you.

VVD has been a cut above the others already IMO. I agree that we should see Lovren with him, but I think Matip is a bit of a teachers pet and will be retained

Seems, Matip is in the firing line these last few weeks. FWIW, i think Matip and VVD is the most solid pairing going forward. Recruit a good RB and put a bit more protection into midfield and we'll be golden.
