The fall and rise of Dejan Lovren
It's a remarkable improvement. He seemed to be playing with a lot of doubt under the previous fella, plenty of gremlins in his head every time he got on the ball.
Looks almost composed these days. Needs to keep it up and not get cocky.
Also looks to suit the right hand side better than the left.Modifying post.

Come on. He was utter ****e last season and the start of this.Originally posted by Fredo View PostHe was always a good player. No transformation there other that he's showing it more consistently and has cut out the mistakes.
Credit where credit is due, he has bounced back, but let's not pretend he was anything other than garbage. He ****ing knows it too, and I'd imagine it has given him the fire and desire to improve.Modifying post.

He's taken the fresh start opportunity under Klopp with both hands

We really don't need to be going over old ground for agenda's sake but he's had a good 6 months at Southampton and was largely ****e after that, for them and us. He's been an absolute beast the last 2 games. Both statements and are true. Long may the second one continue.
I love it when he keeps it simple and just defends. He does it extremely well and I hope I never see Marty and his 5 yards deeper style in an LFC shirt again.

TBF, he was good in pre-season and started the season well with 3 clean sheets in a row. The whole team went to **** after West Ham.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostCome on. He was utter ****e last season and the start of this.

Rodgers just really made football to complicated, hence all the mistakes and nervousness.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostRodgers wanted ball playing CB's, Klopp tells them to keep it simple. Time & a place for defenders to get clever & sadly for Lovren he was trying too much.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
