Surely there's a way to review for very violent tackles (Ben Thatcher comes to mind).

Ref has to confirm he didn't see it or it's not eligible for review.

If they get a red for the incident that's a different matter. That's not a review, that's the FA deciding a penalty for an incident the referee as brought to them. They decide punishment not guilt.

I think the Ref saw it ... he was letting a lot go .. that cunt Oslin walked right up to Hendo and just pushed him to the floor ..plain as day right in front of the Ref and he did nothing should have been a straight Yellow .. that game got away from him its no surprise someone was seriously hurt, totally bottled it start to finish ... what i don't understand is who called the offside ?

Decent performance, though probably should have been booked in the first half half and a shaky header late in the game.
Not easy for him just back from injury and Sakho playing like he's never seen a football. Similar to the performances he's been putting in since Klopp has arrived.
