Jürgen Klopp revealed Liverpool must wait for more information on the injury concern that forced Dejan Lovren off the pitch during the 3-0 win over Bournemouth.
The defender was replaced by Ragnar Klavan seven minutes from time at Anfield, but the manager said it was too soon to confirm the specifics of the issue.
“I didn’t see the knock. I would love if it would be because of a ‘knock’ [rather than] a strain or tear or whatever. I have no clue,” said Klopp.
“He felt something but I didn’t speak to him afterwards, I only saw that he was limping.
“We made a change because we could make that change – we had a centre-half on the bench. Hopefully [it is] not too serious, of course, but I cannot say more now.”
I'm still hoping he's gets binned at the end of the season. We need far better in defence and neither him, Klavan or Matip are good enough. That Nathan Ake looks a prospect.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Chelsea were silly to let him go, he's definitely a good defender and will only get better.
“I don’t exactly know about Dejan’s start at Liverpool but he made a few mistakes. People always have that in mind: ‘Oh, Lovren again!’ But I’m long in the business. I said to Dejan: ‘If somebody told me, come on, you have the chance, create a centre-half. We found a way to do it, genetically, bam, bam, bam.’ That’s him, strong, quick, both feet, can head like crazy, jumps through the roof. He’s all you need. Yes, a few things you can improve – his concentration. But these are human beings.
Klopp forgot to mention that he is a maniac, anyways Klopp was constantly praising Moreno before Robbo took his chance and never looked back. I do wonder if Moreno had not of got injured would Robbo still be warming the bench & Moreno still costing us goals. I'll be shocked if we aren't in the market for a CB in the summer.
As regards Lovren, alot of footballers are physically strong/athletic but mentally they just don't have it.... that is Lovren in a nutshell he is brainless. To be fair to Lovren has had a few decent games since VVD came in beside him, he needs someone beside him to guide and direct him(which is ridiculous when you think about it). Mig, Moreno & Lovren have cost us so many goals over the last few seasons it's bordering on farcical. We have phased Mig and Moreno out and look at the improvement... Lovren hopefully is next.
