        One other thing is, he does actually play like one of the best defenders in the world for most of the time. It's just that others in that category don't get subbed off after 30 mins for being disastrous once or twice per season... If he could eliminate those kind of games, just keep it down to occasional 'regular' mistakes, which is somethin EVERY top world class CB does every now and then, and we've got ourselves a legendary CB partnership. I guess we'll see next season.

                            If we had someone else lined up then you would take it.

                            I'd like a CB guaranteed to be fit for 30+ league games each season to play alongside VVD. Ignoring his faults and despite his qualities, Dejan can't seem to do this.

                            Selling him and then starting a search for a new CB would be madness though.
