agree, but with right defensive stability and with Skrtel and Sakho staying fit and the defensive system getting that better understanding, i think we will then see better displays.

Moreno will be more stable next season, as he has now had that phase of settling in.

if we can be some miracle keep players fit and keep the sae back line..... the whole team will benefit hugely.

Been very unlucky with injuries & just unfortunate our back up players aren't up to scratch.

No worries about Moreon at all. Has obviously got the talent and seems to have settled well. Will improve massively over the next few years.

I agree. I've seen a number of fans talk about him as though he's one of our worst transfer chumps ever which is extremely harsh and short-sighted. I think he'll be fine.

The thing about Moreno and Can (to a lesser extent Markovic) was that IMO they were bought to be bedded in easily this season. Unfortuately we've had so many injuries, lack of squad options & Rodgers hasn't settled on a system that is was a bit of a baptism of fire for both players, especially when you consider we literally didn't have a settled defence or team for that matter, for the whole season. Also Can being played out of position.

I think Moreno suffered from a loss of confidence after several individual mistakes. Lot of players can make mistakes and get away with them, Moreno literally got punished for every defensive lapse he made..poor *******. Thought him and Can legs looked absolutely burned out from about Feb on. Both players really deteriorated in the second half of the season.

I like Moreno he has a bit of balls about him but he seriously needs to work on his defensive game. Hopefully this year was a learning curve and he can expel those defensive lapses from his game.

With respect mate I watched him with Sevilla all last season & this year with us, he is a hardy little *******, loves a tackle ...so much in fact that he is rash & needs to stay on his feet more. Unfortunately the sae defensive lapses he had at Sevilla are still there at LFC.

He's awful, provides little -defensive or offensive add to that he's very one footed and has made a plethora of mistakes.
But fair do's he's scored a cracking goal once and he's still dining out on that.

I hope he comes good also, but can't see it myself.
