      Left wing Moreno

If we continue playing without a dedicated defensive midfielder then the only option for Moreno is playing left midfield. We saw last season what happens when you pair Lovren and Moreno together in defense.

His attacking play was pretty good last season, it was just his defensive duties that were found wanting at times. His attitude on Monday night was really positive (unlike some other players who have been passed over) and he deserves more chances in the role he had

For all his getting forward, his end product wasn't up to much though.

He was probably at his best as a wing back with Sakho next to him. But his end product isn't there to consider moving him further forward. People just getting excited because he ran past a load of players who were knackered due to a short pre season and it being near the end of the game.
              Forwards.......

Would there be more end product if he has someone to cross to i.e. Benteke rather than sterling? What was his crossing like at his previous club?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Created the most chances of anyone without an assist last season.

Shooting wise was poor, crossing and passing wise im not so sure.

I'm not Moreno's biggest fan but fair ****s to him he came on and bust a gut to show something at least.

If he can channel some more of that kalaidescope football into the Arsenal game I wouldn't mind him starting just in front of Gomez. Wenger wouldn't be expecting that.

I'd like to see him back in the position that we signed him for.

Nothing against Gomez, who I think has the potential to be a very good CB, but I'd like to see Moreno as a LB sooner rather than later.

I don't see that happening any time soon, I think barring injuries, suspensions or some terrible performances I don't see the back four changing for a while.

At the moment Gomez, a more defensive minded player offers protection to Lovren, I think swapping Gomez for Moreno would leave Lovren exposed.

At the moment the back 4 should stay the same, it's worked ok in the first couple of games.
