The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Didn't see the game, how did he look in the position I suggested

OK going forward but actually defended pretty well for a change too.

He looks a new player since he's been rested doesn't he. Thanks as always Mo.

He's so likeable - his energy, pace and enthusiasm makes a real difference to this laboured, slow team of ours.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He had a very good game and was a great outlet, unfortunately he only works in a specific formation & in that wing back formation Clyne is pretty null and void.... as he is very poor attacking & 100% not a wingback. Clyne is a good defender, let him do what he does best and not force him to play a role which goes against his abilities.

In Rodgers epic quest to find a formation to suit the players he has..... there is always an imbalance. Whether it be in the defence, the wides areas, the midfield or upfront.

The reason for this is because he just simply bought the wrong players. I would like to know what was exactly going through his mind when he was picking out these players? When I think of Rodgers picking transfers, I picture a thought bubble appearing over his head with a tumbleweed blowing around.

Every formation he tries to play there an imbalance:

4 at the back with Gomez (Gomez is not a LB).
4 at the back with Moreno (Moreno is not a very good defender)
3 at the back with (Can is not a defender).
Wingbacks (Clyne is not a wing back).
Benteke up top as loen striker (Isolated)
Ibe wingback/wide defensive (Not a wingback)
Firmino wingback/wide defensive (Not a wingback)
Henderson DM/HM (He is neither, goes against his progressive game)
Can DM (Well nobody knows exactly what Can is)
Lovren in the starting 11 (WTF!!!)

The list goes on and on. Absolute complete and utter guess work & down to buying the wrong types of players. Lack of pace & absolutely no width. What on earth did he have in mind i wonder?

As for Moreno he was great and was a breath of fresh air.

I think, with coaching on defensive aspects of his game Moreno could become an excellent LB. he had a great game yesterday - he is direct when so much of our play is ponderous.

Yep, brilliant attitude. His reaction to losing his place has been great.

He has the raw talent alright & all the attributes to be a top LB. At least he has a bit of balls about him, i like that bite he has. I don't think he'll do it under the management of Rodgers though, coaching is not there. Personally I would like to see this formation in which I think Moreno cold benefit hugely from:

                        Clyne - Skrtel - Sakho - Moreno
                        -------------Lucas--------------

IMO that should be our first choice pick every time we play. Any defence needs a settled backline, wish Rodgers would stop ****ing changing it around.

The problem is Moreno isn't a good defender, as we saw at Norwich all his best work is done going forward, he has drive and energy so is the one player in the squad suited to a wingback role. If we abandon the wingback system I would be tempted to play him further forward because he looks like he could be a creative force and we don't have many of those.

He was awesome, MOM for me

I think he's absolutely tailor made for a wing back role in a 3-X-X formation, but as Dan says, Clyne isn't particularly suited on the other side. Milner would probably be ace there....

I don't think it's overly fair to say he just isn't a good defender, but its patently obvious where his strengths lie. We either play to them or don't

As a very attacking fullback, he needs both a quick and dependable centre half next to him as well as a dedicated defensive/holding midfielder

Sakho has the pace and the positioning to be able to cover when needs be. Lovren, does not
Lucas, much as I like him, is perhaps lacking the pace that's necessary
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I'd stick Clyne as the right sided CB if we're going to persist with this wing back **** and then Ibe or Milner as the wing back. Ibe seems to do better there as he has more space to build up that head of steam.

Totally agree about Clyne RCB if we persist with this formation. That way at least we will get the best out of Clyne, as he's is an out and out defender and the best out of moreno... Who is clearly better going forward.

The problem is who to play wing back on the right side. Ibe is the only one that fits the bill but he is not as ready as we thought and it's shame to shackle his attacking game with defensive responsibility.
