He was good, and has been very consistent this season. So far - hopefully not tempting fate - but he's cut out the bad howlers that cost goals and is a much better bet now than Milner.

Another excellent performance. About time he started getting some credit. Only complaint is his shooting but that's a seriously minor quibble. He's playing very well indeed and big credit to him.

Imagine we signed him this summer, we'd be thinking our LB position was sorted for years to come. He seems to have put the daft challenges behind him.
