All on the manager that one.

With Martin Skrtel in the team we concede 2s and 3s, without we dont concede many so naturally he starts.

Lucas and Gerrard cant play together so they start together.

Borini cant score or assist so starts instead of one of the more productive strikers in recent years in the PL.

Complete **** up. Some of the **** written on here is shocking though, "season over" and all that crap. Come on ffs.

I think the team is fundamentally flawed without Suarez. Our unconventional defending "style" relied on us banging in lots of goals, but we have almost no link play between the midfield and attack. Rodgers has his work cut out

We did a Spurs. We needed a top striker and a holding midfielder. Borini and Lambert are not strikers for Champions League sides.

Hopefully once Sturridge is back the team will settle down a bit. Does not change the fact our defence has regressed.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Is it possible to call Suarez both the best striker in world footballer yet still feel we underrated his impact? **** me it feels a lot ****ing harder this game we call football without him around.....

We got problems, no doubt. Bullied and pressed by West Ham and we folded.

Gerard's played 3 full games in 7 days. A lot for a 34 year old.

We look poor. Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge carried us last season out midfield was always average. Brendan has some weird confidence in the midfielders from last season, HUGE mistake.

I agree with the last bit, but it's gonna be tough. I could more easily see us finishing 7th again as scraping 4th tho.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

What an absolute shower of **** that was.

Manager has a lot to answer for when it comes to starting 11 and that **** show of a defence.

He needs to get a grip and sort it out. We haven't got Suarez to compensate for the disaster that is the centre backs and Mingolet.

Well at least it's the start of the season.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

                              Can't argue with that.

If we keep this up we will even be comparing the performances with the Hodge era. That's how bad today was.

Rodgers seems to think we have time to turn this around but I'm not so sure we do. If we want to be in the top 4 at the end of the season this needs to be sorted fast.

No positives whatsoever there. Our Defence and Midfield are League One standard. We'll be lucky to finish 7th at this rate.
