Wasted a fortune this summer. Sackable offence IMO.

To be honest Tee it was predictable as anything. A massive step forward then go through a period of transition again. Laughable when Club and Rodgers started putting out the 'top class players lack desire' line around mid-July. Writing was on the wall. Only real success of summer is Moreno and he was benched so the useless Johnson could play on the left. Ridiculous and predictable from Brendan.

Dont think the players signed (bar Lovren) are all that bad, but probably not what was needed at that time. Even still, Rodgers has been the architect of much of our downfall this season with players, tactics and systems. His refusal to budge should and will cost him his job. Ayre and The Committee should go too.
Fancy buying a LCB for 20m having signed one the summer before for 18m. Who signs off on that?

I think it's too soon to write the signings off, Origi, Can and Markovic are 20, Lovren might improve with better midfield protection, Lallana is a good player and Moreno shows signs as well. IMO Rodgers is making it harder for them to adapt with his tactics, we should have gotten in another forward though.

Its tactics. Players dont suddenly forget how to one touch pass, or stop running beyond. Its because they are told not to.

I honestly believe its 'when' not 'if' he goes. If you look at the BBC story, it says our goals for this year were CL Group stage Qual and top 4. If he fails the first one this week, then would you bank on him achieving the other after this start to the season. No. So he will go.

Probably not to you Alex. Many complained about the likes of lovren who had half a good season if that. Everyone bar Rodgers knew he wasnt a leader. Funny when in his first interview he said leadership wasnt his natural game but hoped to develop. Rodgers hailed him as a leader and great passer. His passing is shocking.

good players who had excelled last season. Not saying lallana, Lovren, Lambert, Markovic are the next Downing, Carroll et as they are clearly talented

Rodgers obviously watched that MOTD2/Sky program that was hailing Lovren as a leader. Cant rememeber who it was now, but there was definitely a few short clips showing his leadership prowess

Oh Im not writing the likes of Lallana, Markovic Moreno, Can off at all. Think they will come good eventually. But some really werent what was needed having come 2nd. A couple of top quality additions plus some squaddies. We have about 4 players who could play no.10. What is the point? Such a waste

But Rodgers isnt doing anything to help. Lallana in and out of the side. Can good v Chelsea and Madrid, dropped. Moreno probably best signing, dropped. Lovren mistake after mistake comes back in

He can talk about young players all he likes. It's his older players costing us. And they are undroppable

He was bought off a montage on Sky by Carra and Neville. I dont think he was ever scouted
