Sakho was ok lads... i know we need an answer to the defence but he was pretty poor in the second half after a decent first half IMO. Skrtel,Toure,MIg,Lucas,Gerrard,Coutinho,Henderson were all poxy.
Brilliant by Sterling worked his bollox off and great finish, Lallana too great desire and work rate.

Can was assured yet again, this time in an unfamiliar position he's got to be getting more minutes he really has.
Mignolet is a joke at this point, he looks like a shell of a person at times.
Sakho was good
Henderson/Markovic I though really struggled today
Sterling, isolated but won us the gameVive la France

I understand what you're saying but - and I'm going out on a limb here - it might not be entirely unrelated to the fact that they didn't have any shots on target in the entire ninety minutes, so our two goalies had bugger all to do.Originally posted by Assassin View PostClean sheet.......not sure how but....
But, hey, who knows what might have happened if they had had any shots?

They lacked quality and end product but the opportunities where far too many. A better side would have punished us for these openings... and have done all season.Originally posted by Redspin View PostI understand what you're saying but - and I'm going out on a limb here - it might not be entirely unrelated to the fact that they didn't have any shots on target in the entire ninety minutes, so our two goalies had bugger all to do.

They hit the post, a near miss at the far post and we made a few defensive errors that went unpunished luckily.Originally posted by Redspin View PostI understand what you're saying but - and I'm going out on a limb here - it might not be entirely unrelated to the fact that they didn't have any shots on target in the entire ninety minutes, so our two goalies had bugger all to do.

Aye, if it weren't Burnley, we would've lost today.Originally posted by danperkins View PostThey lacked quality and end product but the opportunities where far too many. A better side would have punished us for these openings... and have done all season.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

What "openings"? They failed to create a single real chance, with a snap-shot against the post the only occasion when they remotely threatened.Originally posted by danperkins View PostThey lacked quality and end product but the opportunities where far too many. I watched the entire ninety minutes and can't recall the "opportunities...far too many". Asíde from hitting the post I can't remember any opportunities. Our goalies were spectators with nothing to do
