Again, its never that easy. I'd also wager that 3-4 of those signings would be marked as 'out' the following season if such wholesale changes are made.

If LFC is truly dedicated to building a dynasty, or even just a team that consistently finishes top 4, the core of a team needs to stick together and be built on year after year with a clear strategy. QPR chucked lots of alright players together and were underwhelming in every year they played in the premierleague.

It's not want fans want to hear, but there is no quick fix to this situation, bar finding another Suarez for 20 odd million pounds which most likely won't happen.

Wages, lack of CL football and initial cost is why some of those won't happen let alone other teams also likely to be interested in them as well. You seem to think transfer of players is like going to Sainaburys for your weekly shop.

The other thing to consider is those we want rid of a) might not want to leave and b) no other clubs show an interest

We need versitlity, we need stars, we need character and we need shot of the deadwood (how many times have we said that over the years)

            The Manager
1 Keep, Unless we can get Klopp as hes an obvious upgrade. Otherwise I think we stand to get more out of Brendan by backing him at the point in his liverpool career. This season was not good enough, lessons will have to be learnt and he will go into next season with renewed confidence of being backed and also motivatd to succeed.

            Players to Sel / Release

            1. Mario Balloteli - 10,000.000
            2. Iago Aspas - 7,000,000
            3. Glen Johnson - Release
            4. Jose Enrique - 2,000,000
            5. Fabio Borini - 8,000,000
            6. Brad Jones - Free
            7. Sebastian Coates -4,000,000

            Player Sales - 31,000,000

            Players to Buy

            1. One of these 3 Jackson Martinez / Paulo Dybala / Icardi - Jackson Looks like Arsenal have signed him …. Joy !!! 23.5 Million Wished we had broken the bank for him last year, just goes to show you have to strike while the Iron is hot, or better put before the Iron becomes the number 1 target in Europe.
Paulo Dybala looks a perfect signing for us, probally another player who will be elevvated to Jackson Martinez status at the end of next season so the time is now to sign a player like this, and he is versitle, which is what we should be looking for in all our signings
Icardi – Fits the profile – Young – product of the barca academy – just had a great season in the Italian Lg - so up to 40 Million for a striker
            2. Dani Alves –Free – We need Stars …
            3. Dimitri Payet - 11,000 We’ve scouted him extensively, top assists in the french lg can play across the pitch, can score goals, can beat a man – perfect signing
            4. Fábio Coentrão – Been after him for years ( Mentally I have) Moreno would be a perfect understudy – 15,000,000
            5. James Milner – Highly under rated player – would fit into a 433 in the middle of the park. If youn are going to play a true 433 your 3 need to be very solid 8s hes that - Free
            6. Andre Ayew - Winger who is big liverpool fan, available on a free, performed strongly in the French Lg - involved in 16 goals
            7. Javier Hernandez - I like him, weather we could get him or not is another thing – 10,000,000
            8. Robert Green – This is the kind of Number 2 we need – Give him the cup games
            9. Will Hughes - Lets do this deal now – loan him back to Derby for a season, send another kid down as part of the deal 15,000,000
            PLAYER PURCHASES roughly 80,000,000

            NET SPEND - 50,000,000

            Team for next season

            4-3-3

            --------------------------STURRIDGE/DYBALA-----------------------------

            STERLING/PAYET----------COUTINHO/LALLANA---------------IBE/MARKOVIC

            -----------------MILNER/ALLEN----------E CHAN/ HENDERSON---------------

            MORENO/COENTAO---LOVERN/SAHKO---SKIRTEL/WISDOM--ALVES/FLANNO

            --------------------------------MIGNOLET/GREEN---------------------------
Dybala would be one hell of a signing... He is the next world class superstar imho. He reminds me of suarez but left footed.

Unfortunately he has signed for Juventus

If we can't challenge for Alderweireld and Schar and Coentrao then we do have a problem, yes I know you don't get 100% of all you try to obtain but this messing about with the club in markets has to end and end yesterday.
We are crap at buying full stop.
We are late in behind the scenes work we do and it just goes on and on.
Aubameyang might not be world class and he might not want to come but for God sake we have to pulling out the stops for multi fuctional players like him.
Are you telling me we can't be in the running for players above, rubbish I am not buying that, it's all about mentality - if you have desire and you are progressive enough some of your list of say 5 players you will get at least 2-3 of them, it is that simple.
But lfc make up we are not in the champions league rubbish as a excuse.

Reckon it's not as easy as all that but I'd want to take a look at Konoplienka, Ayew and/or Milner for midfield, Vietto, Aubeyamang or Icardi upfront and a gander at Abate, Schar and a left back.

Not saying all of those but I'd hope we were looking at some of these, some of them are out of contract and experienced others are better value than Benteke.

We can't change too many at once. We need to hit the season running.

We won't anyway, Rodgers will take six months trying to bed in his Swansea model with Benteke as his Danny Graham but approaching christmas he'll be forced to change to two up top and get good results in the second half of the season, enough to save his job but too late to challenge for fourth.

And this hit the ground running is only a problem when managers over-complicate things. Koeman could it why can't we?

Anyway, I wasn't suggesting all these players, rather looking at those players as they should be good value. If I could pick out of that bunch I'd say Ayew, Milner, Schar and Vietto.

No idea why that made me laugh!

Right now, it feels about as likely as it would have been for Laurel and Hardy to win a 3 legged race!

I don't think we'll be able to make wholesale changes - given I think we're all agreed that we need first choice first team players.

Given that I think we need to prioritise what positions we will (Notwithstanding Rodgers staying and playing them out of position)

                          For me:
we need two central midfield players - both capable of rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in
                          a right back
and at least one forward and probably two (to supplement Origi and Sturridge)

Anything else after that is a luxury
