Our Team for Next season and the Squad in general

On paper we look to have a good side, the one problem is the striker(s), an injury to Sturridge and we are effectively jumping into the unknown with Ings and Origi or the untrusted in whoever of Balotelli, Lambert and Borini are still here. It's a serious step down in (proven) quality.

Also that side doesn't look like it would be getting too many clean sheets so I think we may need to get a lot of goals

I'd be amazed if we got anything for Balotelli this summer, but then I think you've been conservative with what we'll get for Borini. Also, we got £5m for Aspas so I think you're on the right track with just a few figures to be tweaked.

I think we will have trouble getting rid of Balotelli, but like MrM says Borini, Aspas, Coates could fetch a bit and I think we got 5 million for Assaidi in january right?

Plus we are clearly looking to sign another so benteke/baca/rondon/someone else


For me that looks pretty strong....ideally I'd personally want to sell Allen and Enrique and sign better replacements, another good solid left back to cover Moreno given that flannagans injury means it will take him some time, and the centre mid still looks very lightweight to me, something we just haven't addressed in years so swapping Allen for someone better would be good. So adding a striker and clyne gives us my opinion a decent 28 man squad, if we can get the right type of striker to get the goals and could improve on Enrique and Allen then I would be really excited.


It means we have a ridiculous amount of people to sell tho...

I actually think he would. They love their strikers up there, and if you allow him to be the big I am then he would perform.
